Does every lumbar or cervical disc herniation require surgery?
No. In selected lumbar and cervical disc cases, non-surgical options may be evaluated. Surgical decisions are made according to MRI findings and neurological examination.
Who may be suitable for endoscopic spine surgery?
Endoscopic spine surgery may be evaluated in suitable patients with lumbar disc herniation, spinal stenosis or nerve compression. It is not suitable for every patient.
How is the treatment method determined?
The treatment method is determined by evaluating symptoms, MRI/CT findings, neurological examination, overall health status and quality-of-life impact together.
Should I bring MRI images to the appointment?
If you have prior MRI, CT or X-ray images, it is helpful to bring them. If imaging is unavailable, required tests can be requested after specialist evaluation.
